Richmond Honda was established back in 1974, long before the Honda name stood for quality and innovation, This then small dealership was originally located on Number 3 Road. But as the Honda name spread through the 1970’s and 1980’s, we grew rapidly. Eventually we became one of Canada’s largest Honda stores. In 1984, needing a space that would reflect our growth, we moved to the Richmond Auto Mall as one of its original members.

This now-very-successful dealership was purchased by Henning Brasso and partners in 1990. A former Nissan dealer, Henning had the foresight to realize just how bright the future for the Honda brand would be. Henning was honored with the National MacLean’s Magazine Dealer of Excellence Award as Canada’s outstanding dealer in 1996.

This award was a result of achieving first place in Canada Honda sales, winning Honda Canada’s prestigious Q Award, and providing a remarkable customer experience.

Peter Brasso, Henning’s son, was appointed President in 2000. Peter has many years of experience in the automobile business and in the practice of law. Henning continues in the role of Chair.

Today Richmond Honda has over 100 people working at the dealership. We are very proud of being Canada’s number one Honda dealership, and recognize that focusing on customer satisfaction is the way to continue our success.

We have four distinct departments at Richmond Honda, Sales, Service, Parts and Administration/Accounting.
